“Just shut up and take your clothes off.”
"Don’t have to tell me twice.."
"Connor, please, don’t be sorry." Luke took Connor’s hand in his own, looking out the window with him, his eyes shifting from one light to the nest in turn. "I like it here, looking out at the lights." He smiled gently, trying to take the others mind off his mother but now his own mind was thinking of his mom.
"You want me to play you something? anything? I take requests?" Not just trying to distract himself now but both of them, and what better way than with music.
"I..I don’t know..", Connor sighed, "Just play what you want..anything.", Connor said, smiling a bit brighter at Luke. "I’m fine with anything you play.", he added, squeezing the other’s hand a little.
Connor really didn’t know what to request. He was fine with any kind of distraction. Anything that would distract him from thinking about his mother would be great, so he just let Luke decide.
Luke stopped playing as soon as Connor spoke of his mother. His heart dropped, not just for what happened which was horrendous, but because he knew that loss. It was not something he was ready to talk about but he felt for Connor, as he felt for himself. “I’m so sorry.” He put down the guitar and shifted closer to Connor, placing a gentle hand on his leg.
He wanted to cry, to match Connor’s tears but he kept them to himself. “Don’t be sorry. Thats huge Connor.” Luke didn’t know what else to say, this night had taken a turn. He wasn’t the best at dealing with high emotions.
"I know it’s huge..", Connor said, placing one of his hands on Luke’s, "But this was already such a nice evening, and now it turned out like some sentimental shit.", he continued, wiping his tears away.
He just looked out the window, trying to think straight again, squeezing the other’s hand, looking at him again, smiling a tiny little bit.
"I’m sorry, I didn’t want to-"
"Yeah. My parents both grew up here too." She smiled softly.
"So..have you ever left Beacon Hills before?", Connor asked curiously.
Luke smiled and shook his head a little at the way Connor was watching him. “You’re going to put me off if you keep acting so damn cute.” He chuckled as he spoke, his fingers still strumming over the strings. He liked to show off his music abilities, mastering as best he could over time.
"So, tell me more about you?" He raised his brows, but still played. His fingers even softer over the strings, so the music was now totally only in the background and they could easily talk over it.
"You want me to talk about myself while you’re playing? I don’t know if I can manage to do that, I can barely breathe because you’re playing so amazing.", Connor said, smiling all over his face.
"Well..what’s there to know about me? Uhm..well, I lived my whole life in Los Angeles. I never met my father, he died in a car accident when I wasn’t even born. And then, two weeks ago, my mother..god shot..", Connor said, starting to cry, "Some..some thief wanted to steal our money, but we..we didn’t have anything with us..so..so he shot her.", he explained, crying even more. "I’m..I’m sorry."
Connor didn’t even know why he told Luke all that, he barely knew him, and actually Connor talked with nobody about his past. But somehow Connor already felt so comfortable with Luke that he actually told him, and even started crying in front of him.
"I don’t mind being alone." Luke smirked as he made his looked Connor over. His heart was racing but he kept his cool on the outside. "I was actually busy if you must know." He gave the other a knowingly cheeky look before getting up and walking over to the window. "The view is better over here." He sat back where he was stilling before Connor knocked on his door and picked up guitar.
Luke begun to gently strum the strings, a soft sweet slow tune he wrote himself. Trying to show off a little too. He looked up to Connor from his guitar, seeing his face lit by the lights from the town.
"Well, if you say so..", Connor said, following Luke to the window.
"It’s a great view from here..", he stated, sitting down.
"Are you serious? You play the guitar? This night just got even better..", Connor said with a smirk.
Then he just looked at Luke while he played, the movement of his hands, his beautiful eyes that were looking at him. Connor thought he was dreaming, because Luke was playing so amazing. Connor just bend his legs, his head leaning on his knees, just looking at and listening to Luke while he played, smiling all over his face.
"Of course it does, this place is epic. I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl." She laughed softly.
"So you lived here your whole life?", Connor asked curiously.
She looked back up at him, her smile widening. “Well I’m glad.” She picked up her milkshake and took a big sip.
"Me too, Erica..", Connor said, squeezing Erica’s hand, taking a sip of his milkshake as well. "Tastes great!", he stated.
Luke was intoxicated with Connor and even more so when he stepped away. He loved the feeling of his hand on his hip, he loved how close they were to kissing but to have them taken away in such a teasing matter, his head was reeling and he loved it all even more. “Fair enough.” He smiled walking to the kitchen and getting out a lighter. Seeing if he could tease back. “BUt you wanted this didn’t you?” He walked back towards Connor, holding up the lighter and smirking.
"Why would I give it to you after only taking to you for three minuets?" He knew a lighter and a kiss were not even comparable but he liked the game they were playing he he didn’t want it to stop just yet.
Connor liked it that Luke was actually playing along with him..
"Well, I think once I’m outta here I won’t need it anymore.", Connor said, smirking at the other. "Company is much better than just sitting alone in my apartment..", he said.
And he really liked that kind of company. He wanted to get closer to his hella attractive neighbor. He wanted to get to know him better.
Connor sat down on the couch and tapped on the space next to him.
"Come on..", he said, biting his lower lip, "It’s not like you have anything else to do right now..do you?"
Luke felt his heart rate pick up as soon as Connor spoke. He thought the other to be a little timid but he was far from it. Advancing to him and speaking his mind, it was incredibly sexy to Luke. He took a breath, his tongue sweeping over his lips again, listening to ever word Connor spoke. “Maybe you should have come over sooner then…. but then again, this…. now…. its an incredibly romantic way to meet.”
They were but moment from each other, well into the other personal space and Luke was reeling in it. All he had to do was lean in a little and he could feel Connor’s lips on his. He looked down to them before back up to meet his eyes again. “Do you even know how incredibly sexy you are?” A smirk forming on his lips as he spoke. He wasn;t going to kiss him, not yet. He wanted to see just how confidant the other was. He lifted his hand and placed it on Connor’s chest, not really doing anything with it just craving the contact.
"Yeah..probably. But this indeed is really romantic..", Connor replied, "Thank you, Luke..but fuck..you’re hella sexy..I mean, you’re fantastic eyes..your lips..why didn’t I come here sooner?", Connor said, smirking, moving just a little closer to him, their lips almost touching. Connor put his hand on Luke’s waist when he placed his on Connor’s chest, pulling his hips a little closer, their lips still almost touching.
"It’s not gonna be that easy.", Connor said with a smile, moving away a little again. "Not gonna kiss you after just 3 minutes of talking.", he said, stepping in the living room of Luke’s apartment.
